Demet Kara, founder of Kara Law, completed her legal training in Turkey and successfully completed her legal clerkship. After being admitted to the Istanbul Bar Association, she continued her academic journey and obtained her LLM degree from Humboldt University in Berlin. This international training not only enabled her to deepen her legal knowledge, but also to develop an intercultural perspective.

Her professional development took her to the German Bundestag, where she successfully completed the renowned IPS internship program and received a scholarship. She then worked for several years as a transaction lawyer in leading law firms in Berlin, where she gained valuable insights into the German legal system.

Demet Kara is continuing her path by studying at the University of Cologne since 2021 under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Heinz Peter Mansel is working on her doctorate in the field of German and international law. With a wide range of experience and continuous academic development, Demet Kara strives to support Kara Law clients in legal matters between Turkey and Germany.

Attorney Ece Veral is a leading figure on the Kara Law team. With over 10 years of experience in the legal profession, as an expert and mediator in Turkey, she has successfully run her own law firm. Ece Veral is a member of the Istanbul Bar Association and brings her profound expertise in the Turkish legal system to the team. Thanks to her experience, she specializes in offering her clients solid legal solutions.

Ece Veral is known for her achievements in her professional career and her extensive knowledge of the Turkish legal system. In her role on the Kara Law team, she helps develop solutions for legal needs between Turkey and Germany.

Dr. Efser Erden Tütüncü

Dr. Erden Tütüncü completed her studies at the Faculty of Law at Istanbul Kültür University in 2011, graduating in third place. In the same year, she began her research in criminology as part of her doctoral studies at the Faculty of Law and Political Science at Ernst Moritz Arndt University Greifswald, in collaboration with Prof. Dr. Frieder Dünkel. Between October 2014 and July 2015, she conducted research for her doctoral thesis under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Dr. h.c. multi. Hans Heiner-Kühne at the University of Trier in Germany. In February 2016, she obtained the title of "Doctor of Political Science" with her dissertation titled "Incest in Criminal Law in the Light of Criminological Evaluations," which was unanimously deemed successful by the jury. Since October 2011, Erden Tütüncü has continued her academic activities at the Chair of Criminal Law and Criminal Procedure Law at the Faculty of Law at Istanbul Kültür University and at CEHAMER. She has numerous publications in the fields of criminal law, criminal procedure law, criminology, and human rights law. She is proficient in English and German.

Dr. Muharrem Tütüncü

Dr. Tütüncü completed his studies with honors at the Faculty of Law at Istanbul Kültür University (İKÜ) in 2011. In the same year, he began his academic work at the Chair of Commercial Law at the Faculty of Law at İKÜ. During his doctoral studies, he spent a year conducting research under the supervision of Prof. Peter Reiff at the University of Trier (Germany). In February 2016, he obtained the title of Doctor of Legal Sciences with his dissertation titled "The Right of the Court to Acquire Minority Shares (Squeeze-Out) - TTK Art. 208 -," which was unanimously accepted by the jury. Since 2016, he has been teaching at the Faculty of Law at Istanbul Kültür University at both the undergraduate and postgraduate levels and has numerous publications. He continues his academic work in the fields of corporate law, commercial company law, securities law, industrial property law, maritime and transportation law, as well as aviation law. He is proficient in English and German.
